How To Use Poetry To Charm A Partner And Inject Some Spice Into Your Relationship

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

You only have to try and squeeze yourself into the card stores just prior to February 14th or take a look at one of the plentiful Dating Websites to realise that romance is alive and kicking, although your beloved – as appreciative as she is for the printed prose – would be far more touched if she were to be given some words which had been penned by yourself, and why hold off until St Valentines Day? Depending upon your own circumstances and whether you actually cohabit or just see each other from time to time, she should definitely be deeply impressed, if without warning, you express your feelings for her in your own lyrical style.

This, of course, is poetry and trust me it isn't as tough as you might deem. Start out by jotting down a few main points of what you want to say, and you will be staggered by how easily it falls into place. Make certain you attach a little humour, but put your feelings across and it will do wonders for your relationship. The very fact that you have had the inclination to take the time to consider and write poetry about her while she probably assumed you were watching the football, or boozing with the lads, will mean the world.

Don't think of it as over-romantic rubbish, it really will work, no matter where you are in terms of the relationship. You could be just starting out, or an established couple, the very fact that you show the gesture conveys a consideration they maybe were not conscious that you possessed and sincerely will prove how much you care. Bouquets, chocolates, perfumes etc, are fabulous, but a couple of lines of romantic prose will win every time.
