The Real Benefits Of Losing Weight Fast

Anyone who has been overweight for a while would have tried to lose the pounds before and to get motivated yet again is difficult. They see the difficulty rather than the positive results they may get. This failure sits in their minds and they fear a repeat of the expereince. The most difficult challenge to help someone lose weight is to get them motivated, really strongly psyched.



Being in the weight loss business I love it when I am asked how to lose 10 pounds in a week or how to lose a pound a day. That means they have taken the first important step which is to set a goal. I can move on to the next step. I just have to build on it in their minds and this urgency can sustain them until they see results. When the resulst and rewards become a reality in as little as a few days, their motivation will be fueled. There is no greater boost to one's commitment than seeing results from effort.

It is far easier to drop weight fast than to do so over a long period. To lose weight fast you have to change habits and that is much easier done decisively than gradually. Once you have made the decision it is easier to be motivated knowing that you will see results soon. The prospect of short term results is a great motivator.

There is no danger in losing weight fast. I don't know of anybody who has come to harm by fast weight loss. It is how you go about it that may cause some harm.

Here are some guidelines for getting to a new body in no time:

  • Keep the image of your target uppermost in your mind all the time.
  • Know that you will not starve or go hungry. The worst that you will feel is discomfort. The reward for such slight discomfort is enormous.
  • Choose a diet that is aggressive but well balanced.
  • Make sure to drink enough water and get enough sleep.
  • You cannot NOT think about something like food, so focus on something else instead. replace every thought about wrong food with an image of right food associated with your very motivating goal.
  • Never feel like a victim. Know that you are achieving something big.



Thus avoid slow diets. You will not keep your motivation and will soon fall back into old routines. Be decisive. Start. Losing weight can change your life totally within a few weeks!
